MailClark lets us receive and reply emails and other messages from Slack in an intuitive, simple way.
This helps prevent missed messages from people looking to reach out to DEF (for example, the email contact from our website connects into the lt-email-contact channel so that we never miss a question or someone reaching out).
The ability to collaborate and comment on messages as a team is valuable also, as is the ability to assign messages to team members or coordinate with other emails and messages at the same time increases transparency across the team while ensuring the right information gets to the right people.
The only limitation of the tool is that you can only connect one source to any given channel (e.g. you can't receive email from two different accounts in the same channel, or from an email account and a social media connection in the same channel). This just forces the creation of more channels dedicated to certain platforms, but is largely transparent. Additional information can be found in the MailClark Help Center.
We have free use of the paid plan as a Nonprofit. In order to receive this benefit, we were asked to display MailClark as a supporter on our website.
We are not currently using a plug-in for Live Chat (such as Messenger), but have the option to integrate it using Wix on our website if we so choose.
