PURPOSE: Arguably, the most important part of an organization is the ability to attract and retain talented individuals. As people come and go, DEF needs to be able to systematically get the right people into the right positions. When the right people are doing the right jobs with the right culture, special things tend to happen. The purpose of this document is to guide, not prescribe, a series of emails aimed at helping subjectively evaluate if the applicant has qualities that will help DEF grow and achieve its mission. Protecting the culture of the team is critical to ensuring we can continually push the boundaries, fail, and rapidly iterate in our organizational goals.
